My Teaching Philosophy
©2019 Pascale Delache-Feldman
Studying and performing in both France and the US, I have fused together European and American techniques and esthetics and am passionate to share my knowledge with my students.
I love being part of the transformational process of taking a student’s goals, dreams and aspirations in music and bringing them into reality. Using simple and direct strategies both technically and musically, I strive to unlock the potential and possibilities of my students. I always encourage them to be inquisitive and curious, help them find their own voice and empower them to be entrepreneurial and progressive in their career paths.
I bring training excellence from my own studies at the Curtis Institute of Music and the Paris Conservatory and have cultivated the highest standards in my playing and teaching that I enjoy sharing with the next generation of double bass players.
Having studied Alexander technique, Feldenkrais Method and Tai Chi, I have a keen eye in preventing injuries and finding comfort and ease of movement is an integral part of my work with my student.
I also have trained with peak performance coach and master educator,
Dr. Don Greene and am proud to pass his knowledge onto my students on topics such as managing performance anxiety, focusing strategies, building confidence, strengthening courage, developing mental toughness, winning auditions, and getting in the zone!
