Double Bass Mastery Program

Over the years I have found that the traditional one-hour lesson per week doesn't really work well for either my students or me.  Progress is slow and not always consistent, so I felt it was time to do something about it.

I wanted my students to have more support from me and create a community of bassists so they don't feel that practicing has to be a lonely endeavor.  This program will encourage students to be more curious, inquisitive, and confident.

This is what the program looks like:

Each month you will get:

  • Two 90 minutes lessons

  • Two group technique classes

  • Two office hours

  • One studio class

  • One master class with a guest bassist

  • You will be assigned a practice partner for accountability

  • Opportunity to perform in studio classes, masterclasses, and final Recital

Also, you will have access 24/7 to:

  • All classes.  They will be recorded so if you miss one you can view it later.

  • Access to a private Facebook page for support.

  • Access to a digital library that will have pieces with bowing and fingering, technique exercises, and much more.

In this model of teaching, I find that you will learn faster and better and it will be more rewarding for everyone.

You get 11 hours per month instead of the traditional 4 hours per month.  The way it works is that you get a 90 minute lesson on weeks 1 and 3, and technique class, office hour and studio class/master class on weeks 2 and 4.

The beauty of this program is that you get the extra attention and support from your peers and me and build together a community of like-minded bassists!

The price for this program is $1175 per month.
